Description
On February 14th, 2016 while photographing these geese I feel through the ice on lake Aquabi in central Iowa and spent 40 minutes in the frigid water until being rescued by some ice fisherman. I truly feel I was kept under His Wings as I should have died from hypothermia but managed to make it to the hospital and recover almost fully. I lost my camera and several lenses but my flash card made it and this image was saved..A second chance for sure
